About your Provider: Michelle Jegorow, MSW, LICSW, BCPCC /Owner of Lily of the Valley Counseling and Consulting pllc

Michelle is licensed (LICSW) in both MA and NH providing mental health services since 1999.  She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and master's in clinical social work with additional certification in Marriage and Family Therapy.  She is also a member of AACC and Board Certified as a Professional Christian Biblical Counselor (BCPCC). 

 

She has sat with people both professionally and personally in hospitals, homes, and office settings giving her the unique perspective of what it is like to carry the weight of these experiences as you are walking through your journey.  How living this life is not well understood and can be met with well-meaning suggestions that feel like platitudes. Where emotions may be  met with resistance. Where you may be thinking about what life was like before all of this.... or maybe what it will look like in the days ahead.  She understands and appreciates that we can share similar and different feelings, that they will change over time, and that time itself is not what heals us. With confidence and humility she will approach your time together, focusing on what matters the most.

 

Her specialty areas include Grief, Caregiver support for Pediatric Palliative Care, Hospice, Women's mental health, depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders to life transitions and chronic illness.

 

She has clinical interest in the intersection of faith and psychology which prompted the starting of Lily of the Valley Counseling and Consulting pllc where she offers a compassionate, relational approach, committed to creating a safe space where she walks with clients to help them find connection, healing, and hope.
